My name is Delilah and I used to be homeless on the streets of Corpus Christi, TX.  I had litter after litter of puppies and landed in a loud scary shelter.  I heard them say I was on some sort of list and it wasn't looking good for me but thankfully Allie's Haven Animal Rescue saved my life.   It has been a while since I was rescued because I had to get rid of heartworms, gain weight and get all of my vetting done.  I was initially shy and untrusting but somehow found a new home quickly.  Sadly after almost a year I was returned by no fault of my own.   Nobody really knows what breed I am but I will say that I am a cute breed.  I could be some sort of Terrier such as Rat or Jack Russel, Collie, Hound, Beagle or maybe even a little Heeler all mixed up together.  I am the true sense of the "mixed-breed" dog. 

I have now been in my foster home for a few months and had to get retreated for those pesky heartworms and learned a lot about being an inside pet.  So here is the deal.  I am fully potty trained, crate but don't really need to be.  I walk well on leash and only pull a little bit.  I am good with other dogs and all people.  My foster family says I am a really well behaved dog.  I love to play with the other 4 dogs here ranging from 5 months old to 14 yrs old.  Well.... Ok maybe not the 14yr old.  I do not have any bad manners.  I am actually the perfect size dog for just about any family.  

I really like it here at my foster home but still holding out for a furever home.  I promise to be a good girl and love you 10X more then you could imagine.
