Ingrid is a 2-year-old big purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever.  She was rescued from a small rural Texas shelter along with her 6 puppies, of which only one survived.  Ingrid gets very attached to her people and is a loyal companion.  Ingrid needs to be with her people more often than not.  She would love it if you worked from home or you would take her wherever you go.  

She is crate-trained but also does well when left out.  She is potty trained and lets you know when she needs to go outside.  Ingrid is great with other dogs but would be great as an only dog or with another dog with a similar personality.  She would do well with older children due to her large size.  She would enjoy an active home where she can take daily walks and go on road trips or hiking.
