Baxter is a stunning purebred 4 year old Golden Retriever that was purchased by a breeder and after he got too big and quickly became an outside only dog on a chain.  His owners admittedly said to get rid of him now because they do not want him.  So one of our volunteers picked him up and temp fostered until he could get to his foster here in DFW.  

Baxter had no training but has quickly picked up on how to potty outside, crate is a safe place.  He is treat motivated.  He is also learning how to get along with other dogs and doing great on his resource guarding.
