My name is Dutchess and I am a beautiful purebred chocolate Labrador Retriever that was rescued from an overcrowded shelter.  I was found stray and my owner never came looking for me.  I was confused at first because I was on the streets, in a shelter, on a road trip to a foster and now I am ready to find a family and a permanent residence.  I am a happy and playful typical lab that would do better with dogs my size because I would feel badly if I accident ran over and hurt a little dog while trying to catch that tennis ball.  Yes Tennis balls are my favorite next to my stuffed monkey.   My foster mom says the cutest thing about me is that I love to carry around my stuffed toy like its my baby or something.  I really love playing with the other dogs here and we have all become friends.  I am potty trained, crate trained and pretty good on leash.
