My name is Dakota and I am an adorable 6 month old Plott hound mix that had a really rough start in life.  I landed in a small rural South Texas shelter and due to my horrible skin condition and emaciated I was had no chance of getting out of that place.  Then one day a kind lady picked me up and took me out of there.  Next thing you know I am relaxing in a foster home.  I went to the vet and got all of my medical issues addressed and treated and finally I have my beautiful brindle coat back.  My foster mom says I am such a sweetheart and smart.  I really enjoy playing with all of the many other dogs here and have learned that I am safe.  I am already potty trained, crate trained and walk well on leash.  I don't have any bad behaviors and my foster dad says I am the biggest snuggle bug.  Get your application in now so we can meet to see if I am your girl. :)
