Fifi was rescued from the Fort Worth Shelter because her owners turned her in due to unable to proprely care for her. She is an adorable 4 year old Flat Coat Retriever. Fifi has lived her life in a neglectful situation. Poor Fifi is a medical special needs dog. She was morbidly obese, she had hair loss over most of her body and suffered from severe constipation and skin infections. She was very depressed and had no energy. Fifi was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and will require inexpensive medication to keep her throid levels at a normal level for the rest of her life. Since rescued she has lost 20lbs and is growing her hair back. She has energy now and loves to play ball, she will play fetch until she is tired. She is wonderful with other dogs and loves all people. She is crate and potty trained, She walks perfectly on leash. She is still on the mend but is medically able to start looking for her furever home.
