My name is Buck.  I am an older gentleman that sadly was surrendered to a scary shelter along with my life long friend and sister Bridget.  Our owner was old and became ill and could no longer take care of us.  He thought we would get adopted in the shelter but sadly at our age that was not the case and we were out of time in an extremely high kill shelter.  The kind folks at Allie's Haven Animal Rescue could not stand the thought of us being put down together in a cold hard shelter so they rescued us. 

We are a package deal because we are brother and sister that have never been apart from each other.  We rely on each other for comfort and support.  I am totally potty trained and crate trained but we don't need a crate as we both really just enjoy sleeping on a soft doggie bed.  Our prior owner walked both of us daily and so we are extremely good on leash.  We are really good with other dogs.  

I know that finding a home for one older dog is a challenge but we are really hoping there is a furever home out there for both of us.  We would be double the love, affection and loyalty to our new family.
