My name is Francis and I was rescued from South Texas when my family was evicted and left me to run the streets.  Sadly, the local rescue ladies knew about me and I just kept getting out and its by pure luck that I have not been hit.  My owner lived near a really busy 4 lane road with speeding cars rushing by.  Maybe I am just street smart but no matter what, I am now saved and doing fabulous in my foster home. 

My really sweet foster family says that I am so sweet, loving and as most Labs go, I really enjoy swimming in the lake, hiking and hanging out with my people.  I am potty trained, crate trained and great with other dogs even the crabby ones that are not fond of me.  I have an even temperament and chill or play whatever mood your in I am good with that.  I can easily get out of a 4' chain link fence so the rescue peeps say no to that for my safety.

If your looking for a beautiful purebred Chocolate Lab that is over the puppy stage and a calmer but fun, loving and loyal dog then I am your girl. ;)
