I heard that old dogs never get adopted but I hope someone will fall in love with me and my awesome personality.  

Brock here and boy do I have a story.  You see when I was a puppy I was sold to a family that actually raised me right and loved me for some of my life.  The bad news is due to family dynamics and changes my life did a flip and suddenly I was thrown outside to live out my days in an old dog house in the back yard all alone.  I got depressed and just slept and ate all day oh and by the way the food was unhealthy and the cheapest kind on the market blahhhh.  My family has 2 or 3 other dogs but they all live inside and when they get let out they beat me up so I hide in my dog house.  Thankfully the neighbor knew of my sad situation and started looking for a rescue to help save my life.  My owners said they were glad we could give him to a rescue otherwise he was going to get put down.  My favorite day was when the rescue came to meet me and picked me up and when I jumped in that car, I knew my life had changed for good.  I am so grateful to this rescue for helping me and know they will find me a new loving home.

I did have some old man bumps that turned out to be mast cell cancer but my vet did surgery to remove all of them.  Now I am cancer free and they also found out that I have a lazy thyroid so I am on daily thyroid medications which are super inexpensive but really help me to have more energy and feel good.   I am almost done growing my fur back and its so shiny and soft.  My foster mom says I am a total couch potato but can't really blame me as the outside world was never for me to begin with.  I really enjoy my doggie toys and crate and potty trained but don't really need a crate.  I am good with other dogs, cats and love everyone I met even kiddos.  I am just a chill dude that needs a loving home with a soft doggie bed to sleep on.  I promise to be loyal to the end.
