Godiva is my new name because I am a beautiful chocolate color and sweet as any Godiva chocolate can be.  I was found after being hit by a car laying under a porch.  Sadly, I had a broken front leg and it hurt so bad and then I ended up in a loud scary shelter and wasn't sure what was going to happen then suddenly the next day I was out and on a cool airplane flying to Fort Worth to a vet.  I also had a little secret which was 4 little puppers in my belly were going to make their arrival in a few weeks.  I had to wear a cast for 12 weeks.  Yes, I know thats a long time but it worked and my leg is healed.  I also had my 4 little puppies and was an excellent little young mommy even with my cast on.  I am now recovering from motherhood and broken leg but gaining weight and learning quickly how to be a great dog.  I am potty trained, crate trained and love to snuggle up with my foster parents and my foster sister that looks just like me.  I am good with other dogs and really enjoy playing ball and chase with the other dogs here.  I do have some food reactiveness if another dog tries to take my food but my foster mom is working on that and I get fed in my crate so there have been no issues.  I am also a bit of a smartie pants and know how to get anything off of your kitchen counter which I am also learning thats not acceptable.  I walk well on leash but pull some.   I do bark when someone comes to the door and alert my peeps someone is near by.   I am finally able to start taking applications so if you think I am your girl please get your app in.
